2 Great things to do with salt...

Salt with rice grains If leaving your van on site for a season 2 great things to do with salt - Half fill a bowl with salt and leave it in the middle of the van whilst away, it absorbs moisture so acts as a cheap environmently friendly de-humidifier. Also to help keep your salt in the salt shaker from going hard just add ricce so it keeps it loose when shaking.

Is your breakaway cable too long?

Breakaway Cable When you have hitched up your caravan and attached your breakaway cable, if it's too long and catches the floor, tie it up with a cable tie very loosely so it can move through it. You won't have to keep replacing it and there won't be any danger of your cable breaking away when you don't want it to.
