Bridlington

Bridlington has two great beaches and an award winning promenades which are packed with fun.  There is also a busy town, full of attractions.

Bempton Cliffs Nature Reserve form part of the largest seabird colony between Flamborough Head and Brempton.  There are over 200,000 birds breed in this area.  Most of the year the cliffs are quiet, but it gets much busier between April and August.

Scarborough Literature Festival

17 to 20 April 2008

Come for a variety of events which include local authors and nationally known writers, Susan Hill, Joanne Harris, Deborah Moggach, Carol Drinkwater and Ian Rankin who will be appearing at the Festival from Friday to Sunday. There will also be two literary lunches, a breakfast review of the Sunday papers, writers panels and single author events.
